Dr. Aisha Siddiqa completed her Ph.D in Mathematics in Feb. 2019 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. Earlier, she got her M.Phil in Mathematics in 2010 and M.Sc in Mathematics in 2007 with Gold Medal from the same university. Her area of research is General Relativity, Astrophysics and Cosmology, Compact objects, Gravitation waves. She has published 23 research papers in international peer reviewed journals with a cumulative impact factor over 45 and about 300 citations. She has presented her research work in different national and international forums. She has about 10 years of teaching experience as Lecturer in the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Department of Mathematics, Wah Engineering College, University of Wah, Wah Cantt., F.G. Post Graduate College for Women, Wah Cantt. and Virtual University of Pakistan. Currently, she is serving the Department of Mathematics in Virtual University of Pakistan, Islamabad as Assistant Professor. She is actively involved in teaching and research with national and international collaborations.
