Miss Ayesha Sikandar is currently serving as an Instructor Biology at Virtual University of Pakistan. She holds an MPhil in Zoology with a specialization in Wildlife and Fisheries from University of Karachi and did B.Ed. from University of Swabi. Research interests encompass wildlife, biodiversity, fisheries endocrinology, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). GIS technology serves as a valuable complement to these areas, offering tools for spatial analysis and visualization of ecological data. This technology enables precise mapping of biodiversity hotspots, tracking of wildlife populations, and assessment of environmental changes over time.
