Virtual University always strives to bring more efficient and effective ways of paying tuition fee for its students. In this regard, MoU was signed between Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) and Habib Bank Ltd. (HBL) enabling the collection of student’s fee through card based payments.

Students enrolled at Virtual University can now pay their tuition fee through their Credit Card or Debit Card transaction. HBL being one of the largest commercial sector bank of the country and having presence in 25 countries around the world in collaboration with CyberSource, world’s leading e-payment gateway company, for offering Internet Acquiring Services in Pakistan. HBL enables Virtual University to accept payments directly from students through their website (real-time transaction processing) which adds great convenience to VU students. The state-of-the-art solution utilizes the 3D-Secure platform for added security in addition to the integrated fraud management tool to help protect from internet hacking and fraud attempts.

MoU would be beneficial for the provision of convenient and secure mode of payment to VU students across the country and abroad.
