An MOU between Virtual University of Pakistan and Taleem Foundation (A renowned NGO actively involved in promoting education) was signed to mark the beginning of a collaboration for betterment, promotion and furtherance of ICT-based educational setup of the country. The MOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Naveed A. Malik, Rector VU, and Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir, Chairman, Taleem Foundation.

In light of the MOU, both the institutions will mutually support each other to achieve their shared goals and objectives to promote innovative use of technology in education sector, by way of transforming K-12 course contents into high quality videos / visual contents both in Urdu and English languages. Furthermore, necessary skill-mix required for deploying latest educational technologies will be developed; both parties would also join hands in promoting collaboration with national and international institutions of high repute for integrating educational technologies and research.
