Virtual University of Pakistan commemorated 10th Convocation at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad on April 25, 2019. A total of 1521 VU graduates received degrees in various programs. 18 Gold Medals and 67 Merit Certificates were awarded to outstanding graduates. 

The convocation was declared open by Dr. Najma Najam, Ex-Vice Chancellor Karakoram and Fatima Jinnah University. The chief guest highlighted the achievements of Virtual University, its leading role in delivering information and communication technology-based education and highlighted the provision of quality education to the remotest areas of the country.

While addressing, Mr. Naeem Tariq, Rector VU welcomed the guests and their parents on gracing the event with their presence. He said that the parents as well as teachers deserve to be congratulated on the great efforts. He asked students to always remain respectful to their parents and set targets and goals to achieve better results.

The Chief Guest along with the Rector distributed medals and awards amongst high achievers. Besides the dignitaries, faculty members and students, a large number of parents were also present at the convocation.
