Congo Virus-Public Awareness Message:
The Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) and Institute of Public Health Lahore (IPH) jointly developed a public awareness message on “Congo Hemorrhagic Fever” caused by Congo Virus especially under the context of Eid-ul-Azha, as during these days people go out to purchase sacrificial animals and thus chances of spreading zoonotic diseases from animals is increased. 
Animals infested with Hyalomma ticks are responsible for transmission of virus to both the animals and the humans. Health authorities have therefore issued a public warning about the potential spread of Congo Fever. IPH and VUP recorded this public service message for community awareness. Both institutions have been working jointly on many other aspects of public health and safety as well including COVID-19 Pandemic situation as well.
