Virtual University of Pakistan and Pakistan Institute of Management, Ministry of Industries & Production Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for mutual co-operation between these organizations for capacity building and training programs. The MoU was signed by Dr. Naveed A Malik, Rector Virtual University of Pakistan and Mr. Muhammad Abid Hussain, Director Pakistan Institute of Management, Karachi. Both organizations will develop academic and educational cooperation through technological infrastructure and resource sharing. They will establish formal relationship to promote the management skills through training sessions, consultancy and research across the country.

Dr. Naveed A Malik said that this association would increase the outreach and serve as an endeavor to offer dynamic routes of achievement to our brilliant youth. Mr. Abid Hussain, while expressing his views, said that Pakistan Institute of Management was the pioneer of executive development in Pakistan which focused on the development of industrial sector. He further highlighted its primary mission to serve the complex needs of organizational managers through training.
