Mr. Umair Ali is at present serving as an Instructor (HRM & management) in the Department of Management Sciences, of “Virtual University of Pakistan”. He has completed his MS (Business Administration) from “Federal Urdu University, Islamabad”. Before that, he had completed his MBA and BBA Hons degrees from “COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad” and "The Islamia University of Pakistan, Bahawalpur" respectively, with major in the field of Human Resource Management.   His academic interests are in the following areas of management: Human relations, Quantitative Research Techniques in management, Employee retention, Emotional well-being, and Organizational Development. He has performed empirical research on Industry-Academia Linkages, psychological wellbeing, work-life balance, and E-learner achievement. Furthermore, the prevalence of stress and emotional intelligence are also his key areas.
