Dr. Hassan Bukhari has been the part of Virtual University of Pakistan since July 2011. Currently, he has been serving as "Lecturer" in Department of Management Sciences, Virtual University of Pakistan. Dr. Bukhari holds Ph.D. Degree in Islamic Banking and Finance. Before Ph.D. he completed MS in Islamic Banking and Finance from University of Management and Technology, Lahore. He has been teaching a variety of courses at VU including Islamic Modes of Finance, Economic Ideology in Islam, Consumer Banking and Introduction to Business. He has a practical work experience of almost 20 years in different multinational organizations. He worked for a British bank, HSBC which has its operations in more than 80 countries and he also worked in International Credit Information Limited, a credit rating company which is a sole distributor of Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), USA. He served in different Universities as Visiting Faculty like University of Management and Technology, Allama Iqbal Open University, and Preston University. He has presented four research papers in international conferences held in Pakistan and his eight research papers have been published in international research journals. He has special interest in Islamic Banking and Finance.
