Dr. Ijaz Butt has been the part of Virtual University of Pakistan since November 2010. Currently, he has been serving as "Instructor" in Department of Management Sciences, Virtual University of Pakistan while he has also served as "Account Assistant" from February 08, 2010 to November 03, 2010. He did his B.Com. (Hons) from Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab Lahore. He then completed his MSBA from National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Lahore (Campus). After that he completed his Ph.D (Commerce) from Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab, Lahore. His areas of special interest are Corporate Governance, Tax Compliance Issues, Earnings Management. He has been teaching a variety of courses at VU including Business Finance, Money Banking & Finance, Corporate Finance. On the extra-curricular side, he has been serving as "Member" of Sports Committee for Life @ VU.
