Ms. Maria Zaheer has been serving as “Lecturer” at Department of Psychology Virtual University of Pakistan. She has strong educational profession with MS Clinical Psychology from a reputed organization Centre For Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has been served as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of Punjab, Lahore where she has provided services in History taking, Assessment & Therapeutic management of Clients using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Therapy & Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She also did her Clinical Child Placement at Services Hospital, Lahore and provided services of History taking, Assessment & Therapeutic management of indoor and outdoor Patients including children with Intellectual Disability, Learning Disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct disorder, Adjustment Disorder and other behavioral problems by using Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Social skills training, Individualized Educational Plan, Parent Training and Teacher Training. Further she did her Clinical Adult Placement at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore where she provided services in History taking, Assessment & Therapeutic management of indoor and outdoor Patients including Neurotic and Psychotic Patients by using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior. She performed her Community Placement at Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB), Lahore where she provided services in History taking, Assessment & Therapeutic management of Children, Individual and Group Therapy, Management of Anger, Disruptive behavior, Bullying behavior, Attention seeking behavior, Emotional disturbance and Psychological and Emotional Growth, Crisis Management and Social skills training. She also conducted staff training workshop at Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB). Furthermore, she served as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at Punjab Institute of Mental Health, and Jinnah Hospital, Lahore and provided services in History taking, Assessment & Therapeutic management of indoor and outdoor Patients including Neurotic and Psychotic Patients. |
