Mr. Asif holds an M Phil degree in Applied Linguistics from University of Management & Technology Lahore, Punjab. He did his MSc in Applied Linguistics at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Punjab. His MSc dissertation title was “Problems in Thesis Writing”. Before joining Virtual University he taught as a lecture in English at Zavia Post Graduate College, Multan. Moreover, he also worked as English Teacher at Bloomfield Hall School Systems (DGKCC) Dera Ghazi Khan. He is member of Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers (SPELT), ICS (International Conservation Society) China and Member of ASIALEX (Asian Association for Lexicography). He also attended workshops on The Power of Persuasion organized by marketing association Lahore Chapter, Strategic Communication & Leadership Impact organized by marketing association Lahore Chapter, Democratization and development sponsored by Pattan Development Organization conducted by Dr. Paul D Scott Prof. Asian Studies Program kansai Gaidai University Osaka, Japan and Know Your Rights by Ministry of Human Rights Commission Pakistan collaboration with Youth Parliament of Pakistan. His research interests include such applied linguistics and business communication.
