Since its inception, the Department of Economics has been at the forefront of academics, offering a diverse range of courses, including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Monetary Economics, Energy Economics etc., to students across various disciplines, including Business, Computer Science, and Arts. BS Economics is our flagship program that is designed to meet the current and future demands of the job market.

During study at the Economics department, students are encouraged to get hands-on experience in the corporate world through internships and projects with esteemed organizations. Our dedication to academic excellence is reflected in our adoption of the asynchronous mode of learning, which provides students with a flexible and accessible educational experience without compromising on quality.

As we embark on this journey, our goal is to improve students’ critical thinking skills and to encourage a sense of social responsibility amongst them. We desire to see our alumni emerge as economists and leaders actively engaged in solving economic issues and contributing to the growth of the country.
