Conference cum Symposium on “Research in Pakistani Universities: Standards and Practices”, was organized by the Department of Education, Virtual University of Pakistan on June 17-18, 2019. Chief Guest Mian Imran Masood, former Minister of Education, Punjab along with many renowned dignitaries, educationists and subject experts graced the occasion to share and exchange ideas that support and link research with the practices in the world of work and the community. The symposium helped to create an intensive dialogue between theory and practices. It suggested ways and means to undertake applied research relevant to local issues.
