Department of Psychology, Virtual University of Pakistan along with the Department of Sociology and Mass communication organized 1st International conference on “Social Sciences and Humanities in the New Millennium: Challenges and Prospects” in collaboration with Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. The conference provided a platform for deliberations and discussion, for bringing a policy level change in the country.

SEMINARS
23rd October, 2023
The Department of Psychology, Virtual University of Pakistan, organized a one-day seminar on “Mental Health Awareness”. The seminar's highlight was the guest speaker, Prof. Dr. Ruhi Khalid (Director of the Institute of Psychology at Beaconhouse National University) and Prof. Dr. Shahida Batool (Government College University, Lahore). The seminar featured a poster competition on diverse themes related to mental health challenges, associated factors, and strategies to manage these issues, thought-provoking documentary on psychological issues. On desk, mental health awareness camp was also arranged to facilitate participants.

The speakers of this seminar were renowned clinical practitioners, Dr. Iram Zehra Bokharey and Dr. Usman Amin Hotiana.
