The Virtual University of Pakistan participated in the Lahore Science Mela (LSM), which took place at the pavilion of Division Public School & Intermediate College, Model Town, Lahore.

The Lahore Science Mela represents a unique effort to spread the passion for science and technology among Pakistani students. The mobile bio lab of the Virtual University of Pakistan was the center of attraction at Lahore Science Mela as a large number of students visited the mobile bio lab and learn about the lab technology.

The Virtual University of Pakistan has developed a mobile science laboratory-the first mobile lab for students in the country which is giving hands-on experience to students in research of bio-sciences and technology. VU Lab on Wheels is providing equal wet lab facilities for practical sessions to all students at their doorstep. Besides this initiative, practical sessions of life science studies are being performed in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Karachi, and Peshawar.

Lab on Wheels is a wonderful example of a research platform, serving the community by stimulating curiosity and encouraging hands-on learning across the country.
