Laptop Distribution Ceremony under the Prime Minister's National Laptop Scheme, Phase - II was held at Virtual University, Islamabad Campus. 

The Chairman, Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Mayor of Islamabad, Sheikh Ansar Aziz was the chief guest of the ceremony. The Rector, Virtual University of Pakistan Dr. Naveed A Malik (S.I) during his welcome address, congratulated the students. The Chief Guest highlighted that our future depends on educated youth. He appreciated the services of Virtual University for spreading the knowledge in every nook and corner of the country. Sheikh Anser Aziz also emphasized the significance of laptop scheme to the students.

Later, he distributed the laptops to 75 students enrolled in MS program. A quota of 601 laptops was allocated to MS/M.Phil. students of the university out of total 2500 laptops issues by HEC under the PMNLS Phase - II.
