ICITL 2018, the inaugural international conference was organized by the Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) on June 25-26, 2018. It marked a significant milestone in the realm of teaching and learning, bringing together students, researchers, and practitioners. The Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nizamuddin, Chairperson, Punjab Higher Education Commission and national and international keynote speakers graced the occasion. The conference aimed at enhancing the quality of education in Pakistan by revisiting the existing practices and exploring the impact of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) on teaching and learning. Through collaborative efforts, participants sought to improve general education and teacher training while embracing innovative approaches to education delivery.
