Introduction

The Department of Mathematics is one of the core departments in the Faculty of Science and Technology, having been established in the year 2016. It offers a BS degree program in Mathematics and Associate degree program in Science. Furthermore, the Department maintains affiliations with various degree programs, including Statistics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Bioinformatics, and Management. The Department's main goal is to develop a new group of talented mathematicians, innovative researchers, and motivational teachers who will all make major contributions to the intellectual and academic landscape of the country. Our commitment to giving students a platform to improve their understanding of mathematics and its numerous applications is at the heart of our goal. This is achieved by using an integrated approach, in which our students skillfully employ a wide variety of mathematical tools to unravel problems that are both inherent to the profession itself and those that span interconnected domains. Our alumni are prepared to take on various responsibilities in academics and research as a result of our demanding academic endeavours. They are prepared to engage in intellectual activities and preserve the department's excellence thanks to their extensive and well-rounded education.
