The PDC -VU aims to equip the people of Pakistan with the latest ICT technologies, to develop skilled youth in collaboration with world renowned ICT players and to provide Executive tailored education . In this regard, Virtual University (VU) started the “Skill Orientated” programs under Professional Development Center (VU-PDC) for Professionals and Youth.The main objective is to provide continued professional development education to internal and external professionals in line with current market and industry trends. It also aims to enhance current market-oriented ICT skills in youth and thus creating employment opportunities within the country and abroad.

The main purpose of Virtual University (VU) to start this project is to offer non-degree based programs, trainings and education to current and prospective leaders and professionals. On the other hand, specific courses or trainings will be offered to develop foundational skills of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in young generation who are striving to acquiring vital 21st century career skills in problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking. The Professional Development Center (PDC) is offering Professional Certifications & Diplomas, solely & in collaboration with Public/Private Sector institutions, customized training solutions, executive education, and e learning programs for all categories of employees in all sectors.

The VU-Professional Development Center will foster a diverse, prosperous and connected employee-base through access to professionally relevant courses and certificate programs for all employees of VU and other organizations. PDC’s mission will be to catalyze the socioeconomic and technical vitality of our employees.
