Dr. Muhammad Umair Raouf is serving the Virtual University of Pakistan as Lecturer in Islamic Studies.
Before Joining the Virtual University, he served as Subject Specialist of Islamic Studies in AFAQ (Association for Academic Quality), Pakistan. During his services in AFAQ, he Developed and reviewed more than 15 textbooks and curriculum for key-stages 1 to 10. At AFAQ, he was also the member of CBC (Character Building Curriculum) Review & Development committee.
Previously, He was also a part of the Faculty of Arabic & Islamic Studies at Government College University, Lahore. He has been the Lecturer of Arabic & Islamic Studies at CIMS Group of Colleges, Lahore for 4 Years. At CIMS College, he was teaching different compulsotry and elective subjects i.e. Islamic Banking & finance, Islamic economic and political system, Ethics, at Graduate & Post-Graduate level i.e. B.A, B.COM, BBA, BSCS, BSIT, M.A, MBA and M.COM.
He holds two Masters degrees, 1st in Islamic Studies and 2nd in Arabic Language and Literature from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has completed his M.Phil. in Islamic Studies from Government College University, Lahore in 2016. Currently his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies is in-progress from Government College University, Lahore. His area of interest is the study & research in As-Seerah An-Nabawiyyah (The biography of the Holy Prophet PBUH).
He aims to serve Islam and Pakistan in all possible ways using every valuable platform, and to prepare a purposeful generation for serving the Islam and Pakistan. |
