Dr. Ambreen Sarwar joined the Department of Management Sciences at Virtual University of Pakistan in March 2023 as an Assistant Professor, following two years of service as a Lecturer at the same institution and prior experience as an Associate Lecturer at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. She earned her PhD in Management Sciences from COMSATS University Islamabad – Lahore Campus in 2022. Her earlier credentials include an MS in Human Resource Management (Gold Medalist) from VU, as well as an MBA and BBA. Dr. Ambreen’s scholarship intersects organizational behavior and human resource management, with a particular emphasis on Workplace mistreatment (e.g., ostracism, bullying, emotional labor), Gender diversity and women’s career progression in organizational settings, Green HRM and the role of sustainability in human resource practices, Applications of artificial intelligence in human resource contexts. Her published work spans both national and international peer-reviewed journals, accumulating a cumulative impact factor exceeding 35.
