I earned PhD degree in Biological Sciences with specialization in Animal Sciences and Microbiology from Pakistan institute of engineering and applied sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad. I also worked as postgraduate researcher/IRSIP Scholar in University of Leeds, Leeds, United kingdom for six months. I worked on producing recombinant proteins for the diagnosis and control of important animal diseases like Foot-and-mouth disease. My research interests are developing reliable diagnostic methods and effective vaccine candidates for important animal diseases. My research work has been published in peer reviewed journals.
