Ms Afshan Asghar did Masters in English Literature from Government College University, Lahore. She immediately got an opportunity to work with the Virtual University of Pakistan, then a nascent and thriving premium institute with original aspirations. Being one of the original pioneer members of VU faculty, she is one of the most committed denizens of the university. She has been serving in Faculty of English as a Team Lead in the capacity of Lecturer. She is a member of Committee of Unfair Means (COUM), Virtual University. Currently, she has completed her MS Applied Linguistics from University of Management and Technology, Lahore. She was awarded ELTR, Long Term Fellowship 2011/12 for MS Applied Linguistics offered by Higher Education Commission. She has attended the Training of Trainers Workshops organized by Learning Innovation Division (LID), HEC. She has also been nominated as Subject Expert for HEC Curriculum Revision Committee 2011/12. |
