Asim Razzaq has been working at the Virtual University of Pakistan as an Instructor for the Mass Communication Department since 2018. He earned a MS in Media & Communication Studies from International Islamic University, and Master of Science (MSc) in Mass Communication from National University of Modern Languages Islamabad. In addition, he is an active member of youth volunteer groups, mobile medical units and orphanage boarding schools. Asim has worked as a Disaster Risk Management Coordinator and an Emergency Support Officer in Pakistan's flood-stricken areas for a variety of government and non-government organizations, including the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with UNDP One UN Program and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). From his professional experience, he learned how crucial it is to have a firm grasp on both the management and coordination of media organizations and the academic foundations upon which they are built. he is confident that a person with expertise in all facets of communication will be the most valuable asset for any organization.
