Dr Malik Muhammad Arif Rafiq has joined Virtual University of Pakistan as Professor of Mathematics on July 15, 2015. He is a passionate researcher of Mathematics. After completing his PhD from CASPAM, Bahauddin Zakariya University, he worked extremely hard to produce quality research work in respective fields. His major interests in research are Fixed point iterations, Numerical solutions methods; for nonlinear equations, ODE's and PDE's and Mathematical inequalities. He has produced several articles which are published in renowned journals having impact factor frequently. He also collaborated with foreign researchers of relevant fields to contribute effectively in different research areas. Several internationally reputed journals have appointed him as a reviewer and an editor. He has supervised so many students for their MPhil theses.
He has the vast experience of teaching at under graduate and graduate level in various institutions like CASPAM, Bahauddin ZakariyaUniversity and COMSATS covering a wide range of subjects. He has been serving as referee and examiner of M.Sc/M.Phil thesis for various national/international Universities. He is performing services as member of board of studies for various national Universities and other professional societies. He is also HEC approved supervisor. He has delivered several talks/presentations on topics of different research areas. |
