Ms. Nida Mehmood is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer, currently serving as Lecturer at the Virtual University of Pakistan. With prior experience as a Psychology Lecturer at Superior College and as a Clinical Psychologist at Rehab Care, she brings both academic and hands-on clinical expertise to her field. She holds an MS in Clinical Psychology from Kinnaird College for Women University, Lahore, and a BS in Psychology from COMSATS University, Lahore. Throughout her clinical practice, she has been actively involved in the diagnosis, management, and psychotherapy of individuals with diverse psychological needs, particularly focusing on mentally challenged children. Ms. Nida Mehmood has played a significant role in raising awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Down Syndrome, and remains passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental and mental health challenges. She has participated in numerous conferences, seminars, and workshops, continuously expanding her knowledge and contributing to the field. With a deep interest in literature and psychological research, her academic pursuits are centered on women’s mental health in society. Her dynamic blend of clinical acumen, teaching experience, and research passion reflects her unwavering commitment to advancing mental health awareness and education in Pakistan.
