I am an Assistant Professor at the Virtual University of Pakistan in the Department of Mathematics. My current research interests are in fractional calculus, delay differential equations, fixed point theory, numerical analysis, orthogonal polynomials, special functions, spectral methods, artificial neural networks, and extreme learning machine.
I grew up in Sheikhupura, Pakistan, where I completed my high school education by attending the Govt. Comp. High School. Subsequently, I earned my BS Mathematics diploma from the Department of Mathematics at the University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. Continuing my academic journey at the same institution, I completed my MS in Mathematics under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ghazala Akram. Finally, I obtained my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Management and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Naseer Ahmad Asif. During this time, I expanded on topological approaches to ensure the existence of solutions for nonlinear integer-order coupled boundary value problems. Additionally, I extended spectral methods for solving fractional-order partial differential equations and their coupled systems within my doctoral dissertation.
My contributions to academia are evident through numerous publications available on platforms such as Google Scholar and ResearchGate at https://scholar.google.com.pk/citations?user=ssY7vg8AAAAJ&hl=en, https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Imran-Talib-2.
I maintain collaborative relationships with esteemed mathematicians worldwide, including Dr. Tunc, Dr. Belgacem, Dr. Baleanu, Dr. Atangana, Dr. Thabet, Dr. Zakia Hammouch, and Dr. Bohner.
Presently, I am immersed in developing artificial neural network-based mathematical models to address integer-order and fractional-order delay differential equations, covering both homogeneous and nonhomogeneous initial and boundary conditions. |
