SSBC at Virtual University of Pakistan is inviting business ideas for Batch-VII. The student or group of students (maximum two) can submit their viable business ideas on the website of SSBC (http://ssbc.vu.edu.pk). 

What we desire:

Creative, Innovative and technology powered business ideas are invited in all areas, however we encourage business ideas in the following sectors/areas.

• E-commerce / Retail (For all product categories from B2B & B2C)
• Edu Tech (Educational business using technology)
• Fintech (Using technology to offer branchless banking or banking like services)
• Solar Tech (Renewable sources of energy)
• IOT (Web/App-enabled smart devices that use embedded systems)
• Food Business (Provision & Handling of food using technology)
• Logistics (resources acquired, stored, and transported to final destination)
• Health Tech (Health services using technology)
• Agriculture, Meat & Dairy
• Drinking Water & Beverages
• Domestic & Industrial Waste Management

Who can participate?

·Only currently enrolled active students of Virtual University of Pakistan are eligible to apply for business ideas.

·Students enrolled in short courses, diplomas, deficiency semester and zero semester cannot apply.

·Oversees students and VU employees who are enrolled as VU student are not eligible to apply.

Terms & Conditions: 

·One student will be allowed to submit only one business idea; either individually or in a team.

·A team should not be comprised of more than two members.

·Each individual/team needs to submit innovative business idea and must not copy from any source.

·Shortlisted business ideas will be invited for submission of full business plans.

·Only practical and financially viable business plans will be shortlisted for presentation. 

·The business idea’s financial worth should not exceed Rs. 500,000.
