Virtual University Conducts Successful Online Workshop on Tech-Enabled Research

The Professional Development Center of Virtual University in collaboration with the ORIC Department a comprehensive one-day online training workshop titled "Tech-Enabled Research: Driving Excellence Forward" at the IAC Davis Road campus. The event saw robust participation, with over 60 attendees joining the sessions both in-person and online.

The workshop featured three insightful sessions, each designed to enhance participants' research skills.

Dr. Lubna Umar led the first session, focusing on qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. She provided an in-depth understanding of these essential research techniques, which form the backbone of scholarly inquiry.

In the second session, Moazzam Ali Sahi guided participants through the intricacies of article and thesis writing. He introduced LaTeX, a powerful tool for creating professional-quality documents, emphasizing its utility in academic writing.

The final session, conducted by Shanawar Rafique, explored the Mandala Research Tool. This innovative tool aids researchers in organizing and visualizing their data, making complex information more accessible and understandable.

Following the sessions, Dr. Faisal Tehseen Shah, alongside Mr. Jawad Zaheer, Senior Manager of the Professional Development Center, presented souvenirs to the guest speakers as a token of appreciation for their valuable contributions.

The workshop was well-received by the participants, who appreciated the practical insights and hands-on training provided by the esteemed speakers. The event successfully underscored Virtual University's commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence among its students and faculty.
