The Virtual University of Pakistan has achieved another milestone by providing laboratory facilities to the University of Turbat through a Mobile Bio Laboratory, also known as the 'Lab on Wheels.' This initiative has been implemented at UoT to enhance academic excellence and advance research.

The main objective of this Mobile Lab is to involve students from the Natural and Basic Sciences, as well as the Chemistry Department at UoT, in practical scientific laboratory activities. It functions as a link between theoretical knowledge and its practical application in their specific disciplines.

Prof. Dr. Muhsin Javed, the Registrar of Virtual University, shed light on the history and motives behind establishing this Mobile Laboratory. He emphasized that it was brought to UoT in response to an invitation from Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, the Vice-Chancellor of UoT. He also mentioned that the Lab on Wheels is equipped with advanced scientific instruments and chemicals, enabling students to perform practical experiments relevant to their study programs.

Speaking on the occasion, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of UoT stated that this pioneering initiative would provide science students ample opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge through practical experimentation. Expressing gratitude to Prof. Dr. Saleem Bhatti, the Rector of the Virtual University of Pakistan, UoT's Pro Vice-Chancellor expressed deep appreciation for the collaborative efforts between the University of Turbat and Virtual University, which will significantly enhance scientific education and laboratory work at UoT.
