Student of Virtual University of Pakistan, Mehreen Tahir has received an honour to be selected in Global Student Exchange Program UGRAD 2017. The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program provides one semester scholarship to outstanding undergraduate students from around the world for full-time study combined with community service, professional development, and cultural enrichment.

Mehreen Tahir participated in a rigorous six-month selection process with more 9,000 applicants, and after a much-anticipated wait she got selected among 100 students admitted to the program.

She will study a semester at Old Dominion University NorFolk Virginia, USA. As part of the program she will represent Pakistan, VU, gain practical experience, community engagement and support people-to-people diplomacy for a more stable and productive future.
