It gives an immense pleasure to write that you have started new semester at Virtual University of Pakistan.

It is mandatory to watch following Orientation Videos which enables you to understand the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the University.

Furthermore, you should be well aware about the rules and regulations of the University and abide by them. Also, you are advised and expected to observe disciplinary standards and code of conduct including Phishing/ Password Hacking, Cyber Bullying, Identity Theft, Email Spoofing, Fake Profile, Smoking within the University / Campus, to Possess Arms of any kind and use of Electronic devices etc. Moreover, the Students are not allowed to indulge him / herself in any activity at University / Campus premises that is crime / offense under the Court of law or in any commercial activity.

Note: Unawareness of University rules has no excuse.

Moreover, please note the following instructions:

• It is your personal responsibility to secure your password and change it on regular basis to ensure its secrecy. Do not share this password with anyone under any circumstances because it may be misused by someone who may not be in your knowledge and you will be held responsible for such misuse.
• Please check your Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth (as per Matriculation Result Card) and CNIC Number within 30-days after the commencement of classes. In case of any issue, please email copy of your Matriculation result card to student profile section at studentprofile@vu.edu.pk as per procedure prescribed in Student Hand Book.
• You have option to change your Campus within 30-days i.e. till Nov 19, 2019. If you failed to do within specified time; your campus change request will not be entertained.
• It is advised that LMS has the Notice Board where you can update yourself with all news and events daily.
• You are allowed to Freeze once in a semester. While you cannot freeze more than two consecutive semesters. Failing to resume / continue studies in the next (3rd) semester the student’s admission will be considered as “withdrawn” and he/she will be required to apply for new admission as per University policy. 
• It is mandatory to Login your LMS as per your convenience during working days to record your attendance.
• Please select your courses on or before the due date of Course Selection as per the ‘Course Selection Rules’ mentioned in the Student Hand Book. The University may not be held responsible in case of your course selection after the due date.

Practicals (as applicable): Will be conducted only at VU designated Laboratories.
