Beware of Fake Calls

Dear Students,

We want to ensure your safety and protect your personal information. Please note the following important points.

1. The university does not have a WhatsApp account and does not use WhatsApp for any type of verification.
2. The university will never ask for any type of One-Time Password (OTP).
3. The university will never call you using a mobile number for document verification.
4. The university uses SMS for alerts from the official shortcode:
   1. V.U.
   2.  vu.edu.pk
   3. VirtualUni

This service only sends messages and does not request OTPs or personal information.

If you receive any calls that request your personal information or OTP, please be aware that these are fraudulent. Do not share any personal information with anyone over the phone.
