The Faculty of Management hosted an orientation session for newly enrolled students on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Virtual University of Pakistan, Jinnah Campus Lahore. Students of Management Sciences and Public Administration from Lahore attended the session in person, while students from other locations joined online.

The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the National Anthem. Dr. Muhammad Jam-e Kausar, Head of the Department, warmly welcomed the new students. He provided an overview of the Department of Management Sciences and the Department of Public Administration, introducing the offered degree programs, student demographics, the qualified faculty, and career prospects for the students.

Dr. Noreen Zahra, Assistant Professor, guided students through VU's online study model, including the Learning Management System (LMS), graded activities, exams, and the grading scheme, equipping them with the necessary tools to excel in an Online Distance Learning (ODL) environment.

Ms. Saba Munir introduced students to various societies and clubs, encouraging them to enhance their interpersonal and leadership skills by participating in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

The orientation concluded with a question-and-answer session, where students actively participated by asking various questions. Faculty members addressed their queries and provided the relevant information.
