Preamble
Virtual University of Pakistan has been established by the Federal Government to provide affordable high quality education within and outside Pakistan.
The University imparts education through modern distance learning techniques using the latest information and communication technologies. This includes the Internet as well as broadcast television. Lectures are delivered via television / DVDs / Internet, while student-teacher interaction happens over the web based comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS is hosted on the University’s own servers and is available 24x7. In order to facilitate students in getting education at their doorsteps, the University has established virtual campuses all across the country.
Periodically the University invites applications from the Private Sector to establish virtual campuses for its programs at selected cities.
