Dr. Sarwet Rasul is currently working as an Associate Professor / Chairperson in Fatima Jinnah Women University Islamabad. She has a teaching experience of more than 18 years. She has published in national HEC approved journals and presented at different conferences. She recorded a course on History of English Language for MA-ELT program at Virtual University of Pakistan.

She holds her PhD from National University of Modern Languages Islamabad (2001 - 2008) and Masters in English (Literature) from International Islamic University Islamabad (1996-1999). In addition, she is Masters in TEFL (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language) from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad (2000 –2003).

She won Country-wide Best University Teacher Award on January 26, 2008 for Year 2006 by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan, and national Star award for category Education (Women) by South Asia Publications. She was finally selected as the best professional woman for the year and was given a special Star Laureate Award 2008, best teacher 2006 award at Fatima Jinnah Women University on December 29 2006, certificate of excellence on best result of O’ Level at APSAC 2003, and team leader award for Active Citizens Program Pakistan (British Council) -a part of the global Interaction Programme of British Council. She is an HEC Certified Master Trainer: conducted Workshop on Training of Master Trainers for PCEPT/MTFPDP program organized by NAHE-Learning Innovation Division (HEC) from November 1-4, 2010 Lahore.
