Dr. Nasir Mahmood is currently working as a Chairman in the Department of Elementary Teacher Education in Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. He did his PhD from The United Graduate School of Education, Gakugei University, Tokyo. His research topic was “A study of the effects of constructivist practices on teaching and learning of science in elementary schools”. In his post-doctoral report he took the topic “Development of Framework for Analysis of Class Talk (FACT)”, and did it from Center for Studies in Science and Mathematics Education (CSSME), School of Education, Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Law, University of Leeds. He has attended many national and international seminars and conferences. He has been awarded with many awards for his contribution in the field of research. He has been supervising a large number of graduates and postgraduates. He has reviewed a dozens of books and worked on national and international projects. |
