Dr. Saima Muneer has done Ph.D in
Education from Institute of Education & Research, University
of the Punjab. She is an accomplished academic with more than ten years of
experience in teaching, research, and educational leadership. She began her academic career as a Lecturer at the University of Management &
Technology, Lahore. Currently, she is serving as an Assistant Professor of Education at the Department of Early Childhood Education, Institute of Education
& Research, University of the Punjab. As a focal person for
the Quality Enhancement Cell and the National Accreditation Council for Teacher
Education, she is
contributing for improving quality in teacher education. Additionally, she is also
serving as a member of the Student Affairs Committee and Organizing Team of national and international
conferences, student
events, sports gala and recreational tours.
She has published articles in HEC
recognized national and international journals, presented papers at conferences
and also a member of the review panel for HEC recognized research journal. Prior to this, Dr. Saima served as an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership &
Management at Beaconhouse National University performing a key
role in curriculum development and also served as a member of the Board of Studies. She has supervised more than twenty M.Phil. theses in the field of Educational Leadership and Management. Her research interests include
Administration, Management, Digital Education, Organizational Behavior,
Organizational Culture, Human Resource Management, Higher Education, Change
Management, Organizational Justice, Leadership, Organizational Health, Work
Life Balance, Organizational Silence, Generation Studies, Global Citizenship
Education, Emotional Intelligence, Lifelong Learning and Early Childhood
Education.
In administrative capacity, she
has also served as Chairperson of the Professional Studies
Department and Assistant Professor of Education at the Ali Institute of
Education, Lahore. During this time, she has contributed to
restructuring academic programs, organized research workshops, and
developed new degree proposals. Additionally, she led training sessions for
various institutions and conducted workshops on quality teaching practices. She has successfully conducted
out reach workshops as a professional trainer for teachers of TARC Syedanwala
& Bulleh Shah and Al Murtaza Academy, Hunza. Her versatile experience also
includes serving as a Preschool teacher, Elementary teacher and Vice Principal
during her Ph.D. Education.
She is committed to adding her
contributions through teaching and research embedded in the practice and promotion
of tolerance, mutual respect and diversity in the field of
education in Pakistan.
