Muhammad Aslam has taught ELT & Linguistics at the Department of ELT & Linguistics, IER, University of the Punjab, Lahore, from March, 2004 to Jan. 2024. He did his MPhil in TESL from BNU, Lahore, and was awarded a Gold Medal for standing first. He earned his PhD in English Linguistics from International Islamic University, Islamabad, with specialization in SFL based Applied Genre Analysis. He has three papers published in W category international journals besides more than 12 papers published in recognized Y category journals. He is also HEC Approved Supervisor for PhD research. He has lectured in different national universities on topics like Financial Genre Analysis, Non-grammatical Morphology, Multilingualism & Trans-languaging, Chomsky’s Agenda for Syntactic Research, and The Bilingual Mind & Language Acquisition. His teaching interests include General Linguistics, Morphology, Generative Syntax, Language Assessment, and Academic Writing. He has 23 years teaching experience at public and private universities from BS to PhD levels. He has also the honor of teaching at the largest virtual network, Virtual University of Pakistan, and recorded lectures for “Language and Gender” course for BS English. |
