research experience:
Teaching courses
of General Immunology, Advanced Immunology, Clinical Immunology, Advanced
Hematology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, etc. to Graduate
classes. Supervised research work of 2 Ph.D., 25 M. Phil/MS, 30 M. Sc/B.S.
students. Research work of 05 Ph.D, 03 M. Phil/MS scholars and 02 M. Sc and
B.S. students is in progress. In 2010, secured grant of Rs. 3.4 million from
Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan on the project entitled “Role of
MAL/TIRAP polymorphism (S180L) on inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines
in severe malarial manifestations”. In 2015, secured grant of Rs. 0.912
millions from HEC of Pakistan on the project entitled “Anti-Cancerous and
Anti-inflammatory potentials of venom isolated from scorpions of family
Buthidae”. Project worth Rs 12.2 millions is also under review in HEC.
Similarly, another project worth Rs. 1.96 millions is also under review in
Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Islamabad, Pakistan.
