Dr. Sumaira Rasheed is
working as an Assistant Professor,
Department of Secondary Education, IER, University of the Punjab, Lahore,
Pakistan. She Served the
Virtual University of Pakistan as an
adjunct faculty member for the recording of a course EDU302
Human Development and Learning. She is an experienced teacher with over
22 years of experience in providing the vision and leadership required to
ensure a high quality of education for pupils. She chaired the Education and
Psychology departments of Kinnaird College for almost 10 years. She worked as
an Assistant professor at F.C. College, A chartered University, in Lahore for 7
years. She is currently working as an Assistant professor at the University of Punjab.
She did her Ph.D. in critical thinking in 2018 from the University of Education.
She has a proven track record of teaching, training, counseling, and supervising
research at the graduate and postgraduate levels. She has supervised more than
85 research theses at the graduate and post-graduate levels. She is a certified
trainer and has conducted many training sessions with PHEC and many other
institutions. She has strong knowledge of a variety
of instruction modalities, is experienced in
curriculum development, behavior management, and disciplinary skills, and is adept
in conflict resolution strategies, an expert in online learning platforms,
including Blackboard, Canvas, and Moodle. She is a motivational speaker by having
the required enthusiasm, vision, drive, and adaptability necessary to manage a
modern institution. She has more than 18 research publications in national and
international journals. She won many HEC-funded projects on national issues.
