Dr Tayyaba Tamim is Associate Professor and Research Fellow at Centre for Research in Economics and Business at Lahore School of Economics.She has worked as Director Academics at SZABIST, overseen admissions, policy, curricular, and HEC matters among other things across five campuses in Karachi, Dubai, Hyderabad, Larkana, and Islamabad. She also worked as Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator at the Centre for English Language at Aga Khan University. Dr. Tayyaba Tamim completed her PhD from University of Cambridge as a fully funded RECOUP scholar and MPhil as a fully funded British Council Chevening scholar from Cambridge University, UK. In addition, she got Masters in English Language Teaching (MA ELT) degree from Kinnaird College for Women University, a diploma in ELT, and a Masters in English Literature from the University of the Punjab.

She has a teaching experience of more than 22 years. She has published in national and international peer reviewed high impact journals and presented at several conferences.
