Dr. Tayyaba Tamim

Ph.D in Education

Dr. Tayyaba Tamim is currently working as an Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Economics and Business, Lahore School of Economics. She worked as Assistant Professor and Programme Coordinator at the Centre for English Language at Aga Khan University. She has also worked as Director Academics at SZABIST, overseen admissions, policy, curricular, and HEC matters among other things across five campuses in Karachi, Dubai, Hyderabad, Larkana, and Islamabad. She recorded a course on Second Language Acquisition for MA-ELT program at Virtual University of Pakistan.

Dr. Tayyaba Tamim did her PhD from University of Cambridge as a fully funded RECOUP scholar and MPhil as a fully funded British Council Chevening scholar from Cambridge University, UK. In addition, she did Masters in English Language Teaching (MA ELT) from Kinnaird College for Women University, a diploma in ELT, and a Masters in English Literature from the University of the Punjab.

She has a teaching experience of more than 22 years. She has published in national and international peer reviewed high impact journals and presented at several conferences.
