Saqib M. Goraya is serving Virtual University of Pakistan (VUP) as a visiting Professor of English language teaching and linguistics. He has recently recorded the course Language Curriculum Design (Eng519) for MA English Language Teaching (ELT) program. He has also served at GIFT University, Gujranwala for nine years. Prior to joining VUP, he was in the UK where he completed MA TESOL at University of East London in 2012 and later went on to pursue his PhD in TESOL from the University of Huddersfield. He is now in the final phase of completing his doctorate. His first MA was in English from International Islamic University, Islamabad in 2001. His main research interests include teaching English for academic purposes, assessment feedback for L2 students, use of corpus linguistics for teaching pedagogical grammar, discourse of language classroom and research methods for ELT and linguistics.
