Dr. Arshad Karim is Professor of Political Science at Forman Christian College [A Charted University], Lahore, Pakistan 2008 to date. He has taught almost all the subjects of History (Ancient, Medieval and Modern World and Subcontinent) and Political Science such as Political Philosophy, International Relations, Public Administration, Theories of Comparative Government, Local Governments, Public Policy, History of Asia, America, Africa and Europe, and Politics in South Asia, Comparative World Religions and several courses on Education. He has supervised and directed research students for M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D degrees on the various topics. OTHER RELAVANT ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE/ACHIEVEMENTS 1. Have been responsible for preparing curriculum of History and Political Science Departments of the University of Punjab, Lahore and the University of Karachi, Karachi. 2. Member, Academic Committee, Center of Excellence for European Studies, University of Karachi. 3. Chairman, Syllabus Committee, University Grants Commission, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad. Prepared BA Honors and MA syllabus for all the universities of Pakistan in the discipline of Political Science as Chairman of the Political Science Syllabus Committee. 4. Have examined over 100 M.Phil and Ph.D. Theses from numerous Universities of South Asia and Northern America in Pakistan and in USA 1972- date.
