Biography
Abdul Shakoor Khakwani received his B. Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from B. Z. University in 1988, M. Sc. in Defense and Strategic Studies from Q. A. University in Islamabad in 1991, MA in Political Science from I. University Bahawalpur in 1993, and MBA in International Business from IBA Karachi in 1998. He has taught at the National Institute of Public Administration in Karachi and is a former Deputy Director of the Institute of Cost and Management of Pakistan. He was a Ford Foundation Visiting Scholar at the Program in Arms Control, Disarmament, and International Security (ACDIS) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from June through December 2001. At present he is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) at Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan, Pakistan.
