I Dr. Ruqia Kalsoom, currently serving as In charge and Assistant Professor of Pakistan Studies at the Virtual University of Pakistan. I hold a Ph.D. in Pakistan Studies from the University of the Punjab and an M.Phil in Political Science from Government College University Lahore. My academic and research interests lie at the intersection of History, Politics, and both National and International Issues. With a strong commitment to education and scholarship, I have had the privilege of teaching at several esteemed institutions. I have served as an Assistant Professor at Minhaj University Lahore, and as visiting faculty at the University of the Punjab and Lahore College for Women University. From 2018 to 2020, I was also part of the Virtual University as a Lecturer, where I gained valuable experience in online pedagogy. Throughout my academic journey, I have remained passionate about fostering critical thinking, informed dialogue, and a deeper understanding of Pakistan Studies among students. I strive to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that connects historical knowledge with contemporary realities, preparing students to become thoughtful and responsible citizens.
