Mr. Hanifullah Jan is currently serving as Tutor/Instructor at the Department of Molecular Biology, Virtual University of Pakistan. He has completed his MPhil in Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering from the University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) in 2015. He has more than 6 years working experience in various research and diagnostic institutes including NIFA (Tarnab), Molecular Biology Lab IBGE (UAP), TB Reference Lab HMC, and Genomics lab RMI Peshawar with learned skills of molecular techniques. He has 4 publications with 3 in peer-reviewed international journals while also have submitted & reported SARS-CoV-2 genome sequence to GenBank (NCBI). His research focus areas include health biotechnology, human and microbial genomics, gut microbial classification and developing molecular diagnostic kits for various diseases in human. |
