I have done my PhD from the Department of Biological Sciences (Majors in Microbiology), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad Pakistan. My basic and major field lies in the understanding of topic "Enrichment of Electricigens from Different Environmental Niches using Microbial Fuel Cells" having international importance regarding renewable energy sources. To complete the last part of my Ph.D. research, I also joined the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Material, Newcastle University, UK. I also published my work in international leading journals in this field. My expertise in techniques like microbial fuel cell designs and fabrication, microbial isolation and characterization, bioelectrochemical techniques, 16S rRNA, FISH and CLSM, Chromatography. Bioinformatic tools like Molecular docking, predicted gene analysis, pyrosequencing data analysis. Recognizing my outstanding performance, university also awarded me with gold medal. I strongly believe that my multi-faced approach and focused research area will bring positive and dynamic change among students and institutes
